Som

This article is about the currency. SOM is also an acronym for Success Oriented Management and the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

The currency of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. There are note denominations of half Som and 1, 5, 10, 50 Som. There are no coins. Note designs have famous historical Kyrgyz individuals on one side and famous buildings on the other.

Som is also the Kyrgyz word for rouble.
