Snorks
Snorks fictional cartoon underwater creatures created by Hanna-Barbera Productions, similar to the Smurfs. The Snorks never achieved the popularity of the Smurfs, however.
Snorks were shown as brightly-coloured diminutive humanoids with snorkels growing out of their heads.
The Snork and his sister the Snork Maiden were fictional characters (companions of Moomintroll), in the writings and illustrations of Tove Jansson. They appeared in Moomin books of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. (The Tove Jansson and Hanna-Barbera characters had no similarity or connection, other than name).
