The Slylandro are a fictional race of beings featured in the sci-fi Star Control computer game series.
The Slylandro are a race of ancient gas bag people that inhabit a gas giant planet. Since they cannot create tools, much less spaceships, they have purchased probe 2418-B from the Melnorme. However, they made an error programming it, and as such it terrorized the quadrant until the protagonist had the Slylandro stop sending probes.
