Sithun, is the place where Odin according to the Ynglinga saga settled when he arrived to Svitjod, or ancient Sweden. Snorri Sturluson claimed Sithun to be identical to the town of Sigtuna in Uplandia.
Tacitus mentions a Scandinavian tribe by a similar name, the Sitones.
