Sistina Font
Sistina is a typeface designed in 1951 by Hermann Zapf.
A serif design, it's a member of the Palatino family of fonts. Sistina has no lowercase characters, and is intended to be used for titling.
Notable uses of Sistina:
- The University of Rochester has a door labeled "Museum" in Sistina. However, there is no museum behind it, providing rich material for campus folklore.
- Sistina is also the font used on the back lower corner of a Macintosh SE computer. It is the font in which the caption for the serial number ("Serial Number") is printed.
