Sinchi Roca, the second emperor of the Inca empire, is known mainly for the story of Teuotihi. Teuotihi was an Incan messenger ordered to send a message to a rival tribe. When he got there, however, he was promptly killed and sent back to Sinchi Roca, headless. This prompted a war and a decisive Inca victory at the Battle of Mauedipi.
