His film directorial debut was Gher Betha Ganga in 1962 (aka Ganges at Your Doorstep). More recent releases include Dev (2004), Zubeidaa (2001), Hari-Bhari (aka Fertility) (2000), and Samar (aka Conflict) (1999).
