In some colleges in the USA, Shower Night occurs the night before the first freshman exam. Upperclassmen use this opportunity to harass freshmen by forcibly dragging them into the communal bathrooms and soaking them in the shower, claiming they do this out of concern that the freshman are studying too hard to remember to shower.
