Sandbag is a Nintendo character that first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee as a non-playable character and has not appeared in any game since. Sandbag's only purpose is to get hit in the Home Run Contest. In the Home Run Contest, a player's goal is to hit Sandbag as far as possible. When Kirby copies Sandbag, Kirby does not receive any abilities. According to the game's trophy description, "Getting hit doesn't hurt Sandbag at all". In order to get the Sandbag Trophy, you must hit Sandbag 984 feet.
