Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte



         


Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte is a small rural town in lower Normandy, a north western region of France. It belongs to the Manche département. It is situated in the Cotentin Peninsula near Middle Ages. The novelist Jules Amédée Barbey d'Aurevilly was born there on November 2, 1808. A museum is now dedicated to the artist.
