Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a communauté d'agglomération in the French département of Yvelines. It a new town named after the Saint Quentin Pond, which was chosen to become the town's centre. In 2003, the metropolitan area had a population of 145,966. It is is part of the much larger Paris metropolitan area.
