Ruby Tuesday is an American casual dining restaurant chain. It was founded in 1972 by five University of Tennessee students and is now headquartered in Maryville, Tennessee. It is similar to others such as Applebee's, but is distinguished by its unusual salad bar. Today Ruby Tuesday maintains 575 restaurants in 13 countries.
