Roy Hudd (b. May 16 1936, Croydon, Surrey) is a British radio and television actor. He is also a playwright and author.
He is best known for his radio series The News Huddlines and recently for his role as the undertaker Archie Shuttleworth in the popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street.
