Dame Roma Mitchell (October 2, 1913 - March 5, 2000) was a Chief Justice of the South Australian Supreme Court and subsequently the first female Governor of South Australia. Roma Flinders Mitchell was born in Adelaide in 1913 the second daughter of Harold and Maude Mitchell.
