Rod Argent
Rod Argent was a member of pop group The Zombies.
He was born in St Albans in 1945. While at St Albans school, he met with Paul Atkinson and Hugh Grundy. In conjunction with Colin Blunstone and Chris White, they formed The Zombies.
Argent played piano and keyboard in the group. In addition he was their main songwriter, writing their major hits 'She's Not There', 'Tell Her No' and 'Time Of The Season' among other songs.
After the Zombies split, he went on to form a band called Argent.
He later played keyboard with many other musicians, including playing on The Who's album Who Are You.
