Robert Menzies McAlmon (March 9, 1896 - February 2, 1956) was an American author, poet and publisher.
Moving to London and then to Paris in the 1920s, much of his writing was published in France. This included short stories about his youth in small towns in South Dakota, and free verse.
He was associated with Hemingway, with whom he travelled to Spain, Morley Callaghan and other notables of the period. He returned to America in 1940, dying almost unknown in his native country.
