Rangantittu is a bird sanctuary off the Bangalore-Mysore highway, close to Srirangapatna. In addition to local species, various migratory birds also visit this place. Some crocodiles too are present in the waters here. The photo below, taken at the sanctuary shows some species of bats hanging off the tree on the right.
