Among the women known to history as Queen Mary are:
A Cunard ocean liner, constructed in the 1930s was named the RMS Queen Mary for Mary of Teck. Since its retirement, the liner has been permanently located in Long Beach, California. A second Cunard transatlantic cruise liner took the name RMS Queen Mary 2 and was christened on January 8 2004.
During World War I, a British battlecruiser, HMS Queen Mary, was named after the same queen.
Queen Mary is the name of one of the colleges of the University of London.
