Pulse neutron generator accelerators generate neutrons of 2.5 and 14.1 MeV. Thousands of such small, relatively inexpensive systems have been built over the past five decades. Neutrons are 'fired' as plasma. Neutrons are usually bonded to protons.
Dr. Leung developed the neutron generator that produces short neutron pulses by pulsing instead of using a mechanical chopper.
The purpose of these devices are to create a small amount of radiation at a determined point.
