Present tense
The present tense is the tense or form of a verb expressing action, activity, state or being in the present time.
In English, differentiations are made between the following forms of the present tense:
- Present Simple: I go to school every day.
- Present Continuous: You are being rude. (at this moment)
- Present Perfect Simple: I have had enough of your endless nagging.
- Present Perfect Continuous: She has been living in London for a year.
