Port Sunlight is a village on the Wirral (in the North West of England). It was purpose built by Lord Leverhulme/William Hesketh Lever at the turn of the 20th Century for the employees of Lever Brothers soap factory (now part of Unilever).
Port Sunlight is currently a Conservation Area and is also being put forward for world heritage site status to protect it from development and to preserve the unique character for future generations.
