The Porsche 968 was an automobile made by Porsche. It was the successor to the Porsche 944, and Porsche's last front engined car. It featured an updated 3.0 litre straight-4 engine (known internally as the Typ M44/43) that produced 240 bhp at 6200 rpm. The frontal styling resembled the Porsche 928 although the proportions were similar to the 944. It was available as a coupe or a convertible. A coupe only version called the Club Sport had a stripped-out lightweight interior and lower and stiffer suspension. Porsche also produced a turbocharged version called the Turbo S, but only 15 were ever made.
The production of this automobile lasted from 1992 to 1995.
