The 944 Turbo (also known as the 951) was a Porsche model acclaimed for its bold cornering ability, near perfect weight distribution, contemporary design, and powerful Turbocharged engine. The 944 Turbo offered substantial high-end performance for what was then (for Porsche) an entry level price of around $35,000 (1986).
