Sir Peter Reginald Frederick Hall (22 November, 1930 - ) is a British theatre and film director.
He was born in Bury St. Edmunds, England and is best known for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, of which he was artistic director from 1960 to 1968. In 1973 he became director of the British National Theatre. He was knighted for his services to the theatre.
Hall has been married four times. His ex-wives include actress, Leslie Caron, and opera singer, Maria Ewing.
