Patty
Patty is a common female name, usually short for "Patricia".
Patty is a character in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz (not to be confused with Peppermint Patty). Her closest friend is Violet. The two appeared very early (Patty even appeared in the first strip, along with Charlie Brown and Shermy), but lacking the discerning characteristics of characters such as Lucy, Linus, or Schroeder they became less prominent as years went by.
Patty plays outfield on Charlie Brown's Little League team.
Patty is a character in the television series Charmed.
Patty is also the title of a controversial, low-budget 1976 film loosely based on the experiences of Patricia Hearst, beginning with her being abducted by the Symbionese Liberation Army and culminating with her joining the organization in some of its most highly-publicized crimes, including bank robberies. The film received an X rating from the Motion Picture Association of America and garnered almost universally negative reviews.
