Pathfinder Badge



         


The Pathfinder Badge is a decoration of the United States Army which is awarded to those soldiers who have successfully completed the U.S. Army Infantry School?s Pathfinder Course. The badge was first issued in 1964.

To be awarded the Pathfinder Badge, a soldier must complete instruction in jungle warfare, terrain negotiation, and advanced scouting. The badge is only awarded after completion of a final examination field conditions exercise.
