Parc des Princes

The Parc des Princes (translation: Park of the Princes) is a stadium in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It is the home of football (soccer) team Paris Saint-Germain, and formerly the national stadium of France.

The Parc des Princes was opened in June 1972, designed by the architect Roger Tallibert.

The rugby union club Racing Club de Paris played there between 1984 and 1990. Another rugby union club, Stade Français, play across the road at the Stade Jean Bouin.

The stadium was replaced by the Stade de France as France's national stadium upon the construction of that stadium for the 1998 Football World Cup.
