Paray-le-Monial is a town in North-Eastern France, situated in the region of Burgundy, in the Department Saône-et-Loire. Paray-le-Monial has about 10.000 inhabitants and ranges over an area of approximately 25 km2. Its altitude over sea level is 245 m.
The commune is mainly known by its romanic church "Sacré-Coeur" and as a place of pilgrimage.
