The racial makeup of the county is 96.26% White, 2.16% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.24% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.48% from other races, and 0.68% from two or more races. 1.08% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
