The municipality Oppegård in the county of Akershus, Norway, has 23,243 inhabitants as of January 1, 2003. Its area is 37 km², hence being the smallest municipality in Akershus by area.
Oppegård is located at the eastern coast of Bonnefjorden, which is an arm of Oslofjord. It includes the villages Oppegård, Svartskog and Kolbotn. The landscape is dominated by the vast part of the north-south going lake Gjersjøen, which is largely dividing the district in a western and eastern part. The lake Kolbotnvannet is located here as well. The non-builded parts are largely covered by wood.
Roald Amundsen lived in Svartskog.
