Once Upon a Time in America
Once Upon a Time in America is a 1984 film directed by Sergio Leone (his last) starring Robert De Niro and James Woods as two Jewish youths in who rise to prominence in the New York organized crime world. It is renowned for the beauty of the shots, the detail of its three historical settings (turn of the XXth century, 1930's, 1960's) and its intricate, complex, open-ended narration. Elizabeth McGovern, Treat Williams, Tuesday Weld, Joe Pesci, Burt Young, Danny Aiello and William Forsythe are also featured.
