Norville Shaggy Rogers

Norville Rogers (Shaggy to his friends) is a character in the cartoon series Scooby-Doo about the adventures of four crime-solving teenagers. Shaggy is the beatnik of the group and is owner to a Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. He is the son of a cop. Shaggy's look is 60's style; his appearance is often lanky with bushy hair and a goatee. Both he and Scooby-Doo have tremendous appetites, as well tendencies towards goofing-off and cowardice. Shaggy eats all kind of junk food but never eats meat because he is a vegetarian. Shaggy says "Zoinks" whenever surprised or scared, which is all the time.

In the cartoon series, Shaggy is voiced by Casey Kasem and in the two Scooby Doo movies he is played by Matthew Lillard.
