Nick Lachey

Nicholas Scott "Nick" Lachey (born November 9, 1973) was a member, alongside his brother Drew Lachey, of the boy band 98 Degrees. He later married pop singer Jessica Simpson, and together they star in the MTV reality show Newlyweds.

Lachey was born in Harlan, Kentucky. According to the official 98 Degrees bio page, he was on his summer break from Miami University where he studied Sports Medicine when he was invited to join the group already in Los Angeles. Many of the group members are his former classmates from Cincinnati's School of Creative and Performing Arts.

All four albums released by 98 Degrees went platinum, but in the fall of 2002 Nick went solo and he released his first album, SoulO, in November 2003.
