New Statesman
The New Statesman is a United Kingdom weekly socialist magazine. It was first published in 1913 as the newsletter of the Fabian Society, originally edited by Clifford Sharp. Under the leadership of Kingsley Martin in 1931 it took over The Nation, a rival and became known as the New Statesman and Nation. It returned to the simpler form in 1964.
Today it carries columns from the likes of Mark Steel, John Pilger, Lauren Booth, and Ann Widdecombe. It is currently edited by stub. You can help BambooWeb by .
