Netspace is one of Australia's major Internet Service Providers. The company focuses primarily on ADSL-based Internet access.
Netspace started in the early 1990s offering dial-up internet access, as was the standard at the time.
When ADSL opened up to resellers at an affordable price in 2001, Netspace was one of the first ISPs on the market. Their two plans (at the time) included 3Gb for $70, or 10Gb for $100, both of which encouraged competition in an area previously dominated by Telstra Bigpond, the infrastructure owner.
Today Netspace is one of the more successful smaller ISPs in Australia, along with iiNet and Internode.
The company is headquartered in Camberwell, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.
