Nanosys is a nanotechnology company located in Palo Alto, California.

It's core competencies are

  1. Design and fabrication of high-quality inorganic semiconductor nanostructures
  2. Assembly of high-performance nanostructures into devices
  3. Engineering of "quantum" properties

As of 2004 Nanosys company plans to conduct an IPO, becoming the first publicly traded nanotechnology company.
