Mystic River

There are at least two rivers in New England called the Mystic River; this article is about them.
See Mystic River (book) for Mystic_River_(movie) for the 2003 movie based on the book.

The Mystic River is a river which flows through the southeastern corner of the U. S. state of Connecticut. It empties into Long Island Sound, dividing the village of Mystic into Groton and Stonington.

The Mystic River is also the name of a short river in Massachusetts which lies to the north of and approximately parallel to the Charles River. It empties into Boston Harbor between Charlestown and East Boston. It gave its name to the well-known novel and movie Mystic River.
