Mr. Sub, originally called Mr. Submarine before the 1990s is a popular submarine sandwich store chain in Canada. The first store was opened in 1967. The franchise is owned by Mr. Submarine Limited. While it was originally the sole chain of submarine sandwhiches, it has begun to suffer from stiff competition from Subway, as well as new arrival, Quizno's.

With the rising backlash against fastfood, Mr. Sub has repeatedly emphasized the relative healthiness of its products.

It has served subs like Roast Beef, Corned Beef (taken off the menu in the late-1990s), Rib Sub, Chicken, Salami, Ham, BLT, Canadian Club, Tuna, Assorted, and later introduced Veggie n' Cheese, Veggie subs. In 1996, Mr. Sub introduced Mexican-style wraps featuring Louisiana Chicken. Mr. Sub has been serving specials from all over the world including the Steak n' Cheese sub, Greek Chicken Souvlaki sub, Mexican Chicken Sub and Philly-style Steak & Cheese. They also serve coffee, and Lil' sub kids pak.

Its headquarters are located on Yonge Street, originally on Spadina Avenue.

Mr. Sub's slogans were Good Lub, then Fresh thinking is what we are, and followed by There's always something good going down at Mr. Sub, its present slogan.
