Mode of production
Acccording to marxiian terminology, the couple constituted by, :
- production forces
- production relations
is called a mode of production.
Marx distinguishes 5 production modes (see french article). A sixth couple today, neither foreseen nor foresseable by him, is the one constituted by :
- Internet
- Benevole work and its associated rewards
This sixth modes does not replace the standard ("capitalist") industrial mode , but seems to have a niche beside it including points of cooperation at some places and points of conflicts at other ones.
