The Mk48 Torpedo is a long-range, wire-guided, heavyweight torpedo which is launched from submarines for use against surface targets and other submarines.
It is the torpedo of the United States Navy, and in its ADCAP, or ADvanced CAPabilities form is one of the most deadly torpedoes in service.
