The Minas Basin is an inlet of the Bay of Fundy located in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The Minas Basin forms the eastern part of the Bay of Fundy which splits at Cape Chignecto and is delineated by the massive headland of Cape Split.
Shubenacadie River, Cornwallis River, Avon River (Nova Scotia), and the Salmon River (Nova Scotia). The easternmost portion of the Minas Basin is also called Cobequid Bay.
