Mill Hill East is a station on the Northern Line of the London Underground in Zone 4, being the only station on a branch from Finchley Central. Opened as Mill Hill on 22 August 1867, then London Mill Hill, closing as Mill Hill for Mill Hill Barracks on 11 September 1932 and reopened under present name 18 May 1941. The original intention was to extend the branch further.
