Michael T. Duke is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and President and Chief Executive Officer of Wal-Mart Stores and has been with the company since 1995. Since earning a BS in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971, he has held positions with a number of retailers, including Federated Department Stores, May Department Stores and Venture Stores.
