Michael Winner (b. October 30, 1935) is a British film director and producer, best known for his direction of movies depicting Swinging London of the 1960s, as well as the crime dramas Death Wish and The Big Sleep.
He is also infamously known for starring in television commercials for the UK insurer Esure.
