Michael Wilbon



         


Michael Wilbon (born November 19, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American sportswriter and columnist. He has worked for the Washington Post since 1980. He served as a beat writer for the Post covering the Baltimore Orioles and University of Maryland basketball. In 1990, Wilbon was named a reporter for the Post. He is also on ESPN's show Pardon the Interruption opposite Tony Kornheiser.

In his career, the Northwestern University alumnus has covered 7 Olympic Games, 19 Final Fours, and 16 Super Bowls. He is among the electors for both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Baseball Hall of Fame.
