Michael Stivic is a character on the sitcom All in the Family. Well intending, liberal but sometimes naive Michael "Meathead" Stivic is usually at odds with his conservative father-in-law Archie Bunker. Archie Bunker lacks Michael's higher education but makes up for it with street smarts. The conflicts between the two sometimes result in hilarious arguments over the simplest of topics.
