Metroliner



         


Metroliner is an Amtrak train service between Washington DC and New York in the United States. It started in 1968 under the Penn Central, but has been operated by Amtrak since 1971. AEM7 locomotives provide service on the Metroliner. The Metroliner is now being phased out in favor of the high-speed rail Acela service.

There are frequent daily runs. Reserved seating is available and is usually required.
