In the television series; Goof Troop, Max Goofy is a fictional character, an anthropomorphized dog who was the teenage son of the popular Disney character; Goofy. He appeared in A Goofy Movie and the direct-to-video; An Extremely Goofy Movie. Max also appeared in House of Mouse as the parking valet.
Max may be a retconned version of the red-headed "Goofy, Jr." in a series of 1950's Disney cartoons.
