Master Sword
In the fictional Legend of Zelda series, the Master Sword is the destined weapon of the protagonist Link. It is a sacred, and supposedly indestructible, sword that doubles as a key to time. It carries with it the uncanny ability to augment the Hero of Time's natural defensive prowess; either in the form of bolts of energy shapped like the blade itself, or in a devastating spin attack that removes all enemies within striking distance. It traditionally rests in sacrosancts and various other wonderous places indiginous to Hyrule, such as the Temple of Time, and the Lost Woods.
