Martin Freeman (born September 8 1971, Aldershot) is an English actor most famous for playing Tim Canterbury in the BBC's Golden Globe winning comedy The Office.
Freeman has also appeared in several films, notably Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G Indahouse (2002) and Richard Curtis's Love Actually (2003). He stars as Arthur Dent in the new film adaptation of Douglas Adams' The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, currently in production and due for release in 2005.
